goals for +gear

Gaming streamer audiences are ruthless when brands poorly attempt to infiltrate their space. Verizon wanted to launch into gaming accessories through a major partnership with Twitch streamer @DrLupo.

I created goals for +gear, a sponsored Twitch stream where DrLupo could only unlock increasing discounts on +gear by beating challenges in smash hit game Apex Legends. Fortunately, I play Apex. Some say too much. So I curated every challenge, designed to really test DrLupo and make the entire 2 hour stream engaging for his audience. 

The result: chat spamming brand love in all caps for Verizon. Every discount code was used more than we could have anticipated. We smashed Verizon's sales targets by 63%.
